A Message from the Club President

Welcome to the Amesbury Rotary Club’s website.

The Amesbury Rotary Club was founded in 1925. Since that time we have been working on various community service projects in Amesbury and adjacent communities.  Some our most well known local projects include Our Neighbor’s Table, Readers are Leaders, Bike Safety Day, scholarship

programs, Rotary Youth Leadershp Awards (RYLA), Dictionary Project, and Opportunity Works Newburyport. 

A portion of our efforts also focus on Rotary International and its mission.  For over ten years, we have supported a small village in Esabalyu, Kenya providing clean water and uniforms for school children.  Other international programs in which our club participates include Rotoplast, Youth Exchange, Friends Forever, and Polio Plus. 

If you have ever thought of joining Rotary, now is the time.  Rotary gets into your heart and that’s why the members of the Amesbury Rotary Club belong.  “Service Above Self” is our motto and truly that moment in which we make a difference in the lives of others.
